Fig can help prevent wrinkles - Some studies have found that fig extract had an antioxidative and anti-collagenase effect on wrinkled skin and reduced the percentage of wrinkle depth.
In another study, it was found that a formulation containing fig fruit extract decreased skin melanin, trans-epidermal water loss, and skin sebum significantly. It also increased skin hydration. Hence, figs may be used to treat age spots, acne, freckles, and wrinkles.

Here’s a recipe for a fig face mask.
1large fig or 2 small figs.
1teaspoon of honey (or yogurt is you want to enhance your skin's texture)
Cut the fig in half and scoop out its flesh.
Mash it thoroughly. Add in the honey or yogurt and stir.
Apply the mask to your face and keep it on for 5 minutes.
Wash it off with water and enjoy your refreshed skin.
